Diffusion
History (leaders, founders, where it spread to): Islam was founded by the Prophet Muhammad in 610 AD in Saudi Arabia. Before it had existed 20 (ish) years, Islam had spread through the entire penninsula. The main leaders are called imams. They lead the worship services, are leaders in the Muslim communities, and answer any questions that people may have about Islam.
Sects and Fragmentation: there are three major factions of Islam: the Sunis, the Shi'as, and the Sufis.

Religious Ecology (Nature-Culture)
Relationship with Nature: Muslims believe that God gave them nature and everything in it because, since he breathed life into them, they have a trust. And, since they have this trust, Muslims are not sipposed to waste, hoard, or overuse what is in nature and not to needlessly destroy it.
Environment and Religious Interactions: because of this belief, Muslims believe in taking care of the Earth and not overusing its resources, meaning that they will

Culture Integration
Economic Impact and Relationships: in many Middle Eastern countries, Muslims are the ones who are in charge of the businesses and corporations, meaing they are the ones who make and distribute most of the money and products that circulates through their countries. Since that is the case, that means that they are the ones who basically run the economy.
Pilgrimage: since one of the Five Pillars of Islam is the Hajj (which is a pilgrimage to Mecca), it is required that (unless a person truly can't) to make a pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in a Muslim's lifetime.
Political Impact: in many Muslim-dmoniated countries, the government is a theocracy (a government run by the country's main religion, in other words).
